"Las Canteras Beach" is a long tongue of sand, occupying about 3800 meters of coastline, which stretches across the bay.
Las Canteras is one of the best urban beaches in the country and in the world, since it is a beach with good weather almost all year round. The place of the capital to relax, where time stands still and where you can do sports any day of the week, wearing a swimsuit, bikini, glasses and tube (snorkel), paddles (beach rackets) or surfboard.
In addition, it is a great reserve of marine life. Its seabed is a refuge for a thousand types of fish. On land, the refuge of walkers, fishermen, surfers. And it has a special feature. That peculiarity is what the locals call "La Barra", a long rock formation that spreads not far from the sand and protects a large part of the beach from the tides, transforming into a natural saltwater pool with empty tide. A curious stone line that turns the bay into the best place on this side of the globe to practice swimming, and the salt sea facilitates buoyancy and the swimming goggles give the impression of being inside a large aquarium

At the beginning of the walk you will find the terraces of La Puntilla and the restaurants of fresh fish. This apartment is in a great location - supermarket, car park, restaurants and the beach are all right by the apartment. Communication with the host was quick and easy. The apartment itself is OK. The terrace is sunny, sheltered from the wind and has a lovely view of the beach and the sea, and it’s quiet at night. The kitchen is a bit too small to properly cook in, with a few impractical details (eg the dishwasher doesn’t open as the microwave is in the way). Otherwise everything is as advertised/shown in photos!

Alles in allem haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Vor allem die zentrale Lage mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe, hat uns gefallen

Bardzo dobry i rzetelny kontakt z biurem wynajmującym (skorzystaliśmy również z transferu z oraz na lotnisko w cenie 30 Euro/w jedną stronę) oraz z osobą, która oczekiwała na nas na miejscu (John). Wspaniałe widoki z tarasu, stół, krzesła oraz leżaki umożliwiające opalanie się. Mnóstwo restauracji i przytulnych knajpek. Lokalizacja oraz widoki - wspaniałe!
